Whether you’re new to the area, visiting or have lived here all your life, we’ve complied some of the best things to do in the North East of England.
Metro Centre and Eldon Square
The Metrocentre is one of Europes largest shopping complexes. The many shops, restaurants and leisure activities, such as a cinema and bowling, will suit all ages and interests. Eldon Square is another shopping complex found in Newcastle’s bustling city centre. With recent renovations over the previous years, the bars, restaurants and shops have added greatly to the upscale theme.

Hadrian’s Wall and Vindolanda
Experience some of the regions history at Hadrian’s Wall and the Vindolanda roman fort. Take a stroll or rent a bike to go alongside the wall in the heart of the Northumbrian countryside or go on a guided tour of Vindolanda to experience a more in depth look into history.

Life Science Centre
There is always plenty to see at the Life Science Centre. Their range of activities and displays include: ice skating (seasonal), 4D motion rides, scientific experiments and currently a Lego Brick History display.
