Snowsport Adventures

As the weather turns colder and reports of snow on higher ground in England and Scotland start to feature on Met Office warnings, those you enjoy winter sports will start to get itchy feet at the prospect of being able to enjoy some downhill thrills in the not too distant future.

Your winter break in the Alps; North America’s Colorado or Whistler Mountains; or one of the lesser known ski destinations in Finland, Slovenia or Spain may be booked.  More locally Scotland’s ski resorts are getting prepared for winter fun.

The destinations of Glencoe, the Cairngorms and the Nevis Range provide a closer to home option for those wanting a snow sport warm up or a skiing break on a budget.

From late December to April the ski runs of Scotland provide quality on piste action for all levels of skier.  Whilst the towns and villages surrounding them provide Scottish hostelry at it’s best.  Aviemore, in the Cairngorms, has a main street lined with pubs, restaurants and outdoor shops galore, plus nearby you’ll find Scotland’s only Funicular railway which will get you to the top of the mountain with ease.

If a trip up North is on the cards, then consider Ecocabs as a great way to get there.  With a range of trailers, we have plenty of options to ensure you and your precious cargo of skis, snowboards and other equipment can travel safely.  Whilst you and your friends enjoy plenty of room and comfort in our 8, 16 and 22 seat minibuses and mini-coaches from your home, Newcastle Central Station or Newcastle and Edinburgh airports.

So why not kick off the new year with a bang and organise a trip with your family or friends to experience what the Scottish resorts of Glenshee, Glencoe, Nevis, Cairngorm or Lecht have to offer.  With over 10 years’ experience you can rely on Ecocabs minibuses, minicoaches and trailers to transport you to your chosen ski resort in comfort.
