It’s officially December (from Thursday) meaning the season of the annual Christmas Office Party is upon us.
With parties ranging from evening meals to themed nights, here’s a list of some of our top picks for your Christmas party:
Available throughout December, Slaley Hall provides a party package tailored to your taste and requirements. Best for: large corporate parties.
Held on Friday the 9th and Friday the 16th of December there will be themed 007 nights at Whitworth Hall compete with dinner, drinks, gambling and dancing. Best for: medium sized parties who want something different or a bit of everything
Live music on Friday the 9th and Saturday the 17th with a three-course meal and a DJ until late. Best for: offices of different interests – you could stay just for the meal or stay all night.
St James’s Park
Available for all Fridays and Saturdays in December with dinner, drinks, dancing and a carnival theme. Best for: something different in the centre of Newcastle and large or combined Christmas parties.
On Wednesday the 7th, Hexham Racecourse will be holding the last race of the year. Best for: afternoon parties or those that are fans of the races.
Gateshead MetroCentre Marriott Hotel
For the more classic/traditional Christmas Party head to the Marriott for a three-course meal with a band, disco and plenty of drinks available. Best for: those who like a big party night
Newcastle City Centre
Possibly the most popular and cheapest of Christmas Parties is a pub crawl through Newcastle City Centre and Quayside. Best for: those who want to skip the meal entirely and prefer a free-range night to an organised party.
Don’t forget to pre-book transport! It’s best to be safe when it comes to transport, so that no one gets stranded or left alone make sure you book your taxis beforehand. With our fleet of smart silver vehicles ranging from 4-seater taxis to 22-seater minibuses, we’ll have a vehicle suited for your party. December is one of our busiest months of the year with the 10th being our busiest night – so book early to avoid disappointment.
